Robert M. Thornton, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was instrumental in establishing and growing the company. He has been an executive with national, multi-facility healthcare corporations since 1981, and his experience is exemplified by his active and successful involvement in acquisitions, divestures and turnarounds of community hospital facilities.
Mark J. Stockslager, Chief Financial Officer, has been associated with SunLink in its accounting and finance operations since 1988. He has been actively involved in the financing and reporting of the various acquisitions and divesture activities of the company over that period.
A. Ron Turner, Chief Operating Officer, joined the company in 2010. He brings over 30 years' of hospital management and leadership experience, including having been president of two hospital companies he started. His expertise in the hospital industry is invaluable in this time of rapid change.
Jack M. Spurr, Vice President-Hospital Financial Operations, has over 25 years’ experience in the financial operations of healthcare facilities. He coordinates hospital financial operations between all SunLink healthcare facilities and the corporate office.
Byron D. Finn, President of SunLink ScriptsRX, LLC, has been associated with SunLink since October 2010. Most recently, he had been President of Byron D. Finn, CPA, PC, which provided accounting, financial consulting and litigation support services to its clients, including numerous health care clients. His experience also includes various positions with The Coca-Cola Company in connection with special projects, and he began his business career at Ernst & Young.
Chris Roberts, Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, has been associated with SunLink in its hospital information technology financial operations since 2008, and has 15 years’ experience in finance, accounting and information technology in the health care industry.
