SunLink Health Systems' Missouri Southern healthcare Wins Solucient's Top®National Hospitals Award
Atlanta, Georgia (March 14, 2006) - Solucient® has selected Dexter, Mo.-based Missouri Southern Healthcare, a unit of community healthcare provider SunLink Health Systems (AMEX: SSY), as a recipient of the 100 Top® National Hospitals National Benchmarks for Success award for excellence in hospital management and performance.
Now in its thirteenth year, the Solucient 100 Top Hospitals Award study uses an objective, comprehensive scorecard to judge hospitals nationwide on five critical areas: clinical outcomes, patient safety, operational efficiency, financial stability and growth. The report identifies industry benchmarks and recognizes hospitals that demonstrate superior clinical, operational and financial achievement in overall service. Missouri Southern Healthcare is a 50-bed hospital that has served the Stoddard County and surrounding communities for nearly 30 years.
