Atlanta, Georgia (November 30, 2004) - SunLink Health Systems, Inc. (AMEX: SSY) announced today that at its reconvened annual meeting of shareholders, the two separate proposals to amend and restate SunLink's Code of Regulations, while receiving majorities of votes in favor, did not receive the two-thirds majority needed for adoption and therefore were not adopted. The company had earlier announced that shareholders had elected three incumbent directors to new terms on SunLink's Board of Directors. Those elected to the Board were Karen Brenner, Michael Ford, and Howard Turner.
